This Vietnamese Lemongrass Pork Chop Marinade is my all around go to marinade. You MUST try this recipe, for you will never want to use another recipe again.

Com tam combination has quite a few items you’ll need to make.

Heres my recipe on how I marinade the pork chop for the com tam.

You can probably use this same recipe for other meats like beef or chicken too! This is my all time favorite marinade for grilled meats!

Always wash your pork with salt and water to rid of pork stench.

Pat dry before marinating.

If your pork chops are thick, tenderize and pound it out thin. Cut the edges so that the meat won’t curl up when you cook it.

With about 2 lbs of pork chop, marinade with:
5 cloves garlic minced
1 shallot minced
1 lemongrass stalk minced
1 Thai chili minced
1 tlbs sugar
1 tbls honey
3 tbls fish sauce
1 tsp 5 spice powder
1 tsp msg
1 tbls black pepper
1 tsp oyster sauce
And 2 tbls cooking oil

Give it a nice meat rubbing before covering and let marinade for 3 hours or better if over night.

A few ways you can cook these depending on convenience and preference. Im pan frying these, but you can airfry, roast in the oven, but best if grilled over charcoal.
